Program Requirements & Technical Standards

Technical standards and performance requirements are often required by programs of their students.

Those elements may include certain aspects of the following skills and abilities:

  • Motor skills
  • Sensory/observation
  • Communication
  • Cognitive
  • Behavioral/emotional
  • Professional conduct

The University's mission is to provide optimal educational opportunities for all students, including those with disabilities. Additional Requirements

In addition to academic standards, programs may have requirements which could include, but not be limited to:

  • Background check/Criminal background check
  • Health requirements, including vaccinations
  • Dress code 
  • CPR requirements
  • Other requirements stated by the program
