Make An Appointment

Looking to make an appointment with one of our career counselors? The Pre-Health Student Resource Center offers UMN student and alumni appointments for a variety of needs.

Students and alumni are able to schedule a maximum of one 30-minute appointment per month. We encourage students to schedule with the same career counselor when meeting with our office multiple times over the year. 

Appointments often fill up quickly at the start of each semester and during course registration season. We advise students to schedule early to account for the high demand for appointments during these weeks. 

Types of 30-minute Appointments

The Pre-Health Student Resource Center offers four different 30-minute appointment types to best fit your needs.

For U of M Alumni

Great news! We are open to meeting with U of M alumni and can do so regardless of whether or not you have access to your U of M Gmail account. Please complete the following steps to make your appointment schedule process as smooth as possible. 

  • Before scheduling an appointment: Check to see whether your U of M Gmail account is still active. You will be asked whether you still have access during the intake process, as this will determine how you receive the appointment Zoom link. 
  • How to schedule your appointment: Use the same scheduling links above as current students use!
  • Before your appointment: If you are using your U of M Zoom account, please make sure the account is still active. If it is not, you can follow these instructions to set up a personal Zoom account to be able to access the appointment.
