The first step to being eligible to apply to the Health Profession Pathways program is to be an incoming, first-year student to the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities.
Then, there are a few additional eligibility criteria, which are listed below. The Pathways program will enroll up to 30 students to join the each new cohort.
Students must meet the following three criteria to be eligible to apply for the Pathways program:
- Be an incoming first-year student at the U of M - Twin Cities with your enrollment confirmed for Fall 2026
- Have an interest in a health career
- Identify with one or more of the following:
- from a rural community
- a first-generation college student
- economically disadvantaged
The Health Profession Pathways program will give priority to applications from Minnesota residents, though all students that meet the eligibility criteria are welcome and encouraged to apply.
