The Pre-Health Student Resource Center and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions reaches out to select incoming, admitted University of Minnesota - Twin Cities students via email each spring with an invitation to apply to the Pathways program.

These emails will go out on a rolling basis between March - May to admitted students that match Pathways eligibility criteria.

The online application includes demographic questions, questions about the student's health career interests, and a few short-answer reflection questions that will help us learn about the student's motivation in applying for the Pathways program. 

PLEASE NOTE: 

Incoming, admitted PES students can apply to the Pathways program prior to confirming their enrollment to the University of Minnesota. The Pathways application will open in mid-March and will be sent out via email from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to all incoming, admitted PES students. 

However, if you do not confirm your enrollment to the U of M by the Undergraduate Admissions confirmation deadline of May 15, your application to the Pathways program will not be considered.

We acknowledge that this is a fast turnaround, especially during the last weeks of high school. We aim to confirm participation in the program in a timely manner because Pathways students have required coursework they need to register for during their Freshman Orientation date, which make take place beginning the first week of June 2024.
