Fred Williams, M.A. is a Senior Career Counselor with the Pre-Health Student Resource Center. He earned his M.A. in Educational Policy and Administration and B.S. in Biology from the University of Minnesota. His career in higher education has allowed him to assist students in all phases of their academic journey. Prior to joining the Pre-Health Student Resource Center, he has worked in a variety of offices and positions across the University, including the Office of Admissions, One Stop Student Services, and Academic Advising.
He has also taught undergraduate courses focused on student identity development, career and academic planning, cross-cultural awareness, and social justice. Fred is passionate about working with students to make critical decisions and to create personalized, yet diverse action plans when shaping their classroom and outside experiences in preparation of their eventual health career.
